What a hip environmentally friendly house!

I love this house on Fresh Home.com! I'm a big fan of environmentally friendly materials and the combination of wood with metal or concrete. I dream of owning a house like this one day instead of my far from energy efficient or hip house. This house will be an inspiration for the 3D project I'm starting today. It will be wood on a 12x6 panel. The wood pieces will resemble the shape of this house with angled edges and some sides expanding further out than the others. Also, I'll use a rich brown, like the mulch, and greens from the plants and a sooting blue similar to the metal. I'm off to paint!

Modern Country House with black, white, gray & red

I don't think you could ever go wrong with black, white, gray, and red! You can even pull it off in a country house! Look at this fabulously renovated country house featured on Fresh Home.com. I wish I could add my 3D 24 x 24 piece Intermixed to it! It goes perfectly with the flooring and colors.

I'm obsessed with wood and wish I owned this table!

I'm so intrigued by wood. Every piece is different and a work of art! I see movement and beauty in the grain and knots. I could spend hours looking at unstained wood when I shop for pieces for my 3-D artwork. I'm itching to create a huge wood dining table, especially since I can't afford to buy the kind I like. Crate and Barrel has such an amazing table I would love to own, if I had $2000! I can picture 3 of my wood creations, like Springtime Grass above, in the dining room with this fabulous table!

Black and Gold are HOT right now!

I.O. Metro posted some fabulous photos from the Ralph Lauren site with black and gold rooms. What's funny is I just did custom black, white and gold paintings for a stylish client. I named them Trendsetter after my hip client, which is even more appropriate now that I know her color choices are so in! I can't wait to photograph the paintings in my client's beautiful apartment!
